Naturally stunning! Cassandra and Simon’s wedding was exactly that. It wasn’t overdone, or stress filled. They weren’t there to focus on every other detail that day… just each other and the commitment they were making together.
From the time she booked I knew Cassandra would be organised and prepared for this moment so I wasn’t surprised that everything ran so smoothly, even with such a large bridal party.
Surrounded by their family and friends this happy couple, laughed, cried with joy and just appreciated life, together.
Its a great thing to see such relaxed couples and an even better thing to photograph them on such a life changing day. However it was all the details in this wedding that made it so natural, so stunning. It was the beautiful, not overdone, makeup done by Cassandra’s bridesmaid and now sister in law, it was the bridesmaid dresses in varying shades of teal-green, the comfort gold shoes the bride wore, the lack of jackets the groomsman had and the cake stand and table centre woodwork crafted personally by the groom. These and so many more little things made this wedding personally theirs.
They say you’re supposed to find yourself in your other half. Many loose themselves. It was clear to me today that Cassandra and Simon’s talents and personalities shone in all their wedding details and their love and care for each other. Congratulations to you both and thank you for inviting me to be a part of recording your memories.
