Laura & Josh, Robyn & John, and now Kelsi & Steven. I’m so thrilled to have been privileged enough to have photographed all 3 of these legend sisters weddings.
The majority of weddings are sweet and fun in their own way, its always touching and often amusing, but the real secret to successfully having a blast while working at a wedding, is knowing your spotlight couple. It’s an added bonus when you have history with their family and friends as well! There’s never a dull moment and there’s so much to enjoy. But that’s all my experience… this couple, Kelsi and Steven, were adorable.
I’m a sucker for the emotional groom, especially when he’s a blokey-bloke (so thank you Steven). Cliche as it may be, everybody present at this wedding, had hearts overflowing with love when our groom first saw his bride. There’s something unmistakably perfect about the moment a mans eyes tear up with joy because he is lucky enough to spend his life beside his ‘other half’.
Me – I’m just lucky enough to have seen such love on hundreds of couples faces and for that brief moment, it’s all that is perfect in the world. Kelsi and Steven, you are such a brilliant couple and I wish you a lifetime filled with moments like these.
